A Veteran Railroad Service Company
3 Step Railroad Services

We want to keep it simple as your one stop shop. 3 Step Railroad Services will perform all facility and intra-plant rail switching services (spotting cars, loading, pulling empties or loads as well as 24/7 on demand switching services. 3 Step will have railcars ready for the carriers to pick up as well as perform safety inspections on cars with the necessary class one air tests (we are certified locomotive engineers and switchmen/conductors). Carriers would either pick up or set out as we don't go out on the main line. No more waiting on a switch at the behest of the railroad, no waiting on crew changes because of their hours of service and stoppage of facility operations; rail facility personnel can be tasked to do other jobs within the plant. 3 Step also provides staffing of railroad candidates for temporary or permanent placement as well as other railroad crafts. We can also perform all railroad training aspects, operations, track inspection, and make recommendations for repairs and maintenance to include rail switches. Our guys can be used as an onsite contingency to fill in for personnel shortages as well as increases in railroad operational demands.
